Thanatics, my second completed novel, is a tale of the famed Soma 7, a group of artists from the early 21st century. After the writer of the group commits a politcally motivated suicide, artists from all over the world follow suit. His compatriots are left to wonder if it was art, insanity, or true martyrism. With nods toward Tom Robbins and Joseph Heller, Thanatics lampoons art, the media, and the fecklessness of politics.
