Indie feature film, written and directed by K.S. Haddock
adapted from the Sartre play, No ExitA modern screen version of Jean-Paul Sartre's most famous play (No Exit), Hell pits two San Francisco females (a Marina chick and a Soma dyke) against an American journalist-turned-Albanian rebel. This adaptation puts the famous existential menage a trois into a language those of us living in the 21st century can all understand.
Tripp
bio-pic
written with Dennis AdamsAn hallucinatory account of real-life DJ Peter Tripp's 201-hour wake-a-thon for the March of Dimes back in 1959.
The Perfect Martini
original screenplay
by K.S. Haddock
Four stories come together in this After-Hours-style, Swingers-esque romp. A swing guitarist loses a guitar full of heroin, a single straight female attempts artificial insemination with her gay best friend, a young female artist is searching for the "perfect martini," and a 'stolen-object' artist affects them all.
Four Long Days
based on a true story
by K.S. HaddockA true story. In September of 1971, New York State Trooper Tony Strollo got the call to take back Attica Prison from rebellious inmates who took over and held D-Yard. Among the 39 hostages was his own brother, Frank Strollo. For four long days, Tony stood ready while inmates and politicos futilely negotiated the impossible demands of the insurrectionists.
This is not your average Attica story. This is a story of a proud middleclass Italian Catholic family from Upstate New York whose two sons are caught in the middle of the bloodiest American-upon-American bloodshed since the Civil War. Of how Tony Strollo mastered his personal demons to save his big brother Frank amidst the bloody onslaught of the Attica Prison Riot.
